Los Bastardos!
If, like me, you own your own domain name, a.) hopefully you chose a name for it which doesn't elicit confused looks, and b.) you might have unlimited email aliases.
One thing I've been doing for a long time is creating a new email address every time I sign up for something. When I bought my car, I created subaru@lf.net. When I was beta testing Rubies of Eventide as part of work, I created rubies@lf.net. In this way, I figure I'll know if someone decides to sell off my email, since I never use these anywhere else. Of course, they all just go right back into my main mailbox.
Anyway, the past couple of days, I've suddenly started getting a lot of spam at horizons@lf.net. Thanks, Artifact Entertainment, for selling your customer email list! I only regret that I already canceled my subscription to your boring game, so I can't do it now!

At least you were able to cancel your account! I've e-mailed their support a dozen times and they still charge me, twice a month. I never even got the game to setup correctly!
I've ended up taking my battle to the credit card company who so kindly charges back the charges... I've got another set that's going back to them soon, and it looks like I'm going to have to declare my card stolen just to get the charges stopped!
On further thought.... I wonder what their privacy policy says about that.
