WTF?

So a couple of hours ago, I'm out on my front porch, and I swear I saw something come falling out of the sky, and heard it land about a mile northeast of my house. It looked like a wing from a plane or something. I went back out an hour or so later and there was a helicopter, police judging by the lights, flying around fairly slowly, as if it was looking for where the thing hit. Looking for something, anyway. I almost thought it was the silent sort of helicopter, but I think it was just too far away for me to hear over the interstate, and they had flashy lights going, so prolly not.

Man, I wish I had a police scanner right now, though. I'm going to look out there one more time before I go to bed, and if I see anything going on, I'm going for a drive.
