Perhaps a small consolation, or none at all: I recently added my whine to the pile by officially logging my desire for a camera phone with Nextel.
(They say by the end of the year.)
To balance out my weak camera phone sensibilities, I'll get snotty and point out that your Tivo is the boy band of home media electronics. Sure, Replay isn't all that it used to be since The Great Smackdown, but they remain such gorgeous perfection that there's no need to upgrade ... and, you can still buy units with Commercial Advance intact.
